Police Search for Suspect After Clash With Ashkelon Inspector

Israel Police began searching for a young man who fled after a confrontation with an Ashkelon municipal inspector during routine enforcement activity on Wednesday. Police said the suspect attacked the inspector and resisted officers who tried to detain him before escaping, while an officer at the scene intervened to separate the two. Video of the encounter prompted Ashkelon municipality to open a thorough review of the inspector's conduct.
