Nigeria LNG said it increased operations from four of its six production trains to five after increased oil production allowed the change. Managing director Adeleye Falade told President Bola Tinubu in Abuja that the company had been operating at about 60% capacity because crude production was below optimal levels. Falade said all current liquefied petroleum gas output goes to Nigeria’s domestic market, while the company has generated more than $150 billion and paid about $47 billion in dividends since inception. He added that the Train Seven project would raise capacity by 35%, and Tinubu offered incentives for expansion and urged more domestic gas use.
