Milan Police Arrest Three After Chabad Rabbi Assaulted at Bus Stop

Milan police arrested three men after Rabbi Tzemach Mizrahi, the Israeli Chabad emissary serving the city’s central Chabad House, reported being assaulted at a bus stop in the Jewish district. Mizrahi said the men provoked him as he traveled to collect his children from school, took his hat, and one kicked him into the street. He said he did not need medical treatment and spent several hours giving evidence at a police station. According to his account, officers detained all three suspects immediately and kept them in custody overnight; the rabbi, 51, has served Milan’s Jewish community for about 30 years.
