Petah Tikva Leads Major Cities in Local Government Satisfaction

New Central Bureau of Statistics survey data put Petah Tikva first among Israel's major cities for positive ratings of local government, at 85%, followed by Rishon LeZion at 81%. Jerusalem reached 68%, up from 39% in 2015, while Haifa and Bnei Brak each registered 56%. Nationwide, 66% of adults rated their local authority's performance good or very good, compared with 59% in 2015. The 2025 Social Survey interviewed 6,452 people aged 20 and over and represents approximately 6.3 million residents.
