Ukraine and Finland Sign Drone Development and Production Agreement

Ukraine and Finland signed a defence cooperation agreement in New York on September 23 to support drone development and joint production. Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Stubb signed the framework, according to Finland’s Defence Ministry. It covers research, sharing technical knowledge and transferring technology, with simpler export permissions intended to help defence equipment and technology move between the countries. The ministry said negotiations ran through the summer and early autumn. Its announcement did not specify production volumes or delivery dates.
