Russia Fires 170 Drones at Ukraine Overnight as Strikes Kill Three in Zaporizhzhia Region

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight into September 27 with 170 Shahed, Gerbera and Parodiya decoy drones, 76 of them jet-powered, Ukraine's Air Force said. It said 147 were shot down or suppressed as of 07:30 Kyiv time, recorded hits at 18 locations and said the attack was continuing. In the Zaporizhzhia region, a strike on Komyshuvakha killed a man and injured four people, and a strike on a car in Novotavriiske killed a man and a woman, the regional military administration said. Kyiv authorities reported a hit on an office building in the Solomianskyi district, and port and civilian infrastructure in Kiliia, Odesa region, was struck without injuries.
