U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said overnight that Washington's Operation Economic Outcast against Iran is delivering results. He said Türkiye and Oman have announced an end to Mahan Air flights to their countries, the UAE has halted all flights by Iranian airlines, and top commercial banks in the UAE and Türkiye have stopped transacting with Iran. Bessent said Treasury imposed targeted measures on banks and aviation service providers and sent teams around the world to demand action against the Iranian regime. He thanked the governments of the UK, Türkiye, Oman and the UAE, adding that more must be done to prevent Tehran from carrying out its terrorist agenda.
