UAE Beat Bahrain 3-0 to Reach Gulf Cup Semifinals

The United Arab Emirates beat defending champion Bahrain 3-0 at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah on Sunday, September 27, to secure a place in the Gulf Cup 27 semifinals. Ousmane Camara headed in the opener in the 30th minute, Guilherme Bala scored in the 66th, and Ali Saleh added a third in the 88th. The UAE moved to six points and led Group B on goal difference ahead of Qatar, which also qualified. Bahrain and Yemen were eliminated, while the UAE and Qatar are due to meet on September 30 to settle first place.
