IDF Reports More Than 600 Hezbollah Sites Destroyed in al-Mansouri Operation

The IDF said Monday that its 55th Brigade destroyed more than 600 Hezbollah infrastructure sites during an operation in al-Mansouri, southern Lebanon. Its newly released account also says troops destroyed eight underground routes and found dozens of launchers. The brigade operated under the 91st Division, with engineering specialists from the Yahalom unit taking part, according to the military. The IDF said the mission was intended to prevent Hezbollah from reestablishing positions in the area. The operation's completion had been reported earlier; these figures are from the military's September 28 account.
