PMO Says Shin Bet Filed Censor Complaint Over Channel 12 UAE Report

The Prime Minister's Office said Monday that the Shin Bet filed a complaint with the chief military censor over Channel 12's report on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the United Arab Emirates. The office alleged that the broadcaster reported the trip at 9:38 p.m., before Netanyahu's aircraft landed at 10:27 p.m. It said the disclosure posed a security risk, citing assessments it attributed to the Shin Bet and Mossad. Channel 12 had disputed the office's earlier allegation, saying its broadcast aired after Netanyahu returned to Israel and posed no security risk.
