Blumental Conditions Attendance at Netanyahu Briefing on Inviting All Military Reporters

Military correspondent Itay Blumental said he would not attend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Sunday briefing unless the invitation was extended to the entire military-correspondents’ group. Blumental said he had initially confirmed his attendance, then learned that some colleagues had not been invited. In a later statement on Saturday night, he reiterated that he would attend if everyone in the group received an invitation. Correspondent Or Heller also said some military reporters had been left out. An invitation Heller published schedules the briefing on Israel’s national-security conception for 10 a.m. on October 18 at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.
