Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef Urges Voters to Turn Out, Warning Over Religion-State Policies

Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef urged voters to put their grievances aside and take part in the election during his weekly Saturday-night lecture at Jerusalem's Yazdim synagogue. He warned against the left forming the next government, saying it would introduce civil marriage and public transportation on Shabbat. Yosef criticized Yair Golan and described Avigdor Liberman, Matan Kahana and Elazar Stern as hostile to Haredim. He linked his call for turnout to concerns about religious observance and the policies a future government might pursue.
