Kan Suspends Marco Moreno as Commentator Until After Election

Kan’s news division suspended Marco Moreno’s appearances as a commentator until after the election following his participation in an official Likud campaign advertisement published online. The decision was made on Saturday evening, and Moreno did not take part in that night’s news edition in his commentary role. He may still be invited onto broadcasts on a case-by-case basis as a participant in Likud’s election campaign. In those appearances, his campaign role would be made clear to viewers, distinguishing them from his previous appearances as a commentator.
