Eisenkot Rebukes Magal Over “Monkey” Remark

Gadi Eisenkot rebuked Yinon Magal on Saturday evening after saying Magal had described him as a monkey controlled by Ashkenazim. In a response posted on his own account, Eisenkot dismissed the remarks as beneath a substantive answer and said his concern was the person standing behind Magal. He did not identify that person in the written post. Eisenkot pledged to bring change to Israel and rid public life of what he called “Magalism” and “Bardugoism,” saying his goal was a better country.
