Rothman Warns Against an Eisenkot–Bennett–Abbas Government

Simcha Rothman warned on October 17 that a government involving Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett and Mansour Abbas would endanger Israel. In a Hebrew post, he compared that prospect with the earlier Bennett–Lapid–Abbas government and renewed his criticism of its dealings with Hamas. Rothman alleged that the destruction of a terrorist tunnel entering Israel had been coordinated with Hamas to prevent terrorists from being injured. He attached his own August 2022 post accusing Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid of coordinating the tunnel’s destruction, reviving an earlier allegation alongside his current coalition warning.
