Bennett Rules Out Governing With Netanyahu in Any Configuration

Naftali Bennett said on October 11 that he would not join a government with Benjamin Netanyahu “in any configuration.” In a Hebrew statement, he said his remarks earlier that day were intended to illustrate an absurdity. Bennett reiterated his claim that Netanyahu bears direct, personal responsibility for the October 7 massacre and should leave office. He also argued that Netanyahu opposes universal conscription, a state commission of inquiry and a constitution for Israel. Bennett opened the clarification by urging people to calm down.
