Lapid Calls on Opposition Parties to Reject a Netanyahu Unity Government

Yair Lapid called on President Isaac Herzog not to promote another unity government with Benjamin Netanyahu and said his camp would not cooperate with such a move. In a Hebrew statement published on Monday, Lapid accused Netanyahu of deceiving previous partners and warned that another partnership would use the votes of people who wanted him removed from power. He described such a government as a false unity arrangement. Lapid also urged the other parties in his camp to announce in advance that they would not join it.
