Likud Figures Reportedly Weigh Bennett Alliance if Netanyahu Lacks a Majority

Anonymous Likud figures are privately considering Naftali Bennett as a possible coalition partner if Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc falls short of a majority. In a new report, figures familiar with the party's voter-mobilization efforts assessed that 55–56 seats could give the bloc a blocking position, despite public claims of 61 or more. They described two possible paths: another election or seeking Bennett's participation without Yair Lapid. The figures said no contacts had taken place between Netanyahu's people and Bennett or his representatives, and their scenario remains a political assessment rather than an agreed alliance or a new poll.
