Eisenkot Rejects Bennett’s Openness to Netanyahu Serving as a Minister

Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the Yashar party, rejected Naftali Bennett’s openness to Benjamin Netanyahu serving as a minister in a future government headed by Bennett. Speaking at Hador’s election conference in the Israel Antiquities Authority auditorium in Jerusalem on Sunday, Eisenkot argued that those who held leadership or command positions on October 7 should not continue in such roles, including as finance minister. Bennett had said he did not rule out Netanyahu joining his cabinet. Eisenkot also said political partners could cooperate despite disagreements, describing Yair Golan as courageous while differing with some of his views.
