Joint List Offers Conditional Outside Support for a Government Replacing Netanyahu

Joint List chairman Yousef Jabareen said on Saturday that his party was prepared to negotiate outside parliamentary support for a government replacing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He said the support would be conditional rather than a blank cheque. Among his demands was a defined anti-crime program for Arab society, with a timetable, dedicated funding and oversight of implementation. He also called for a diplomatic horizon toward a Palestinian state, presenting these as demands for negotiations rather than an agreed government program.
