Liberman Says Likud Lawmakers Could Help Form a Majority Without Netanyahu

Avigdor Liberman said on October 15 that he knows Likud lawmakers who would be willing to help give a new coalition a majority, while ruling out serving with Benjamin Netanyahu. He did not identify those lawmakers or announce an agreement. Liberman said Likud without Netanyahu could be a significant coalition partner and rejected a minority government, including a temporary one. He described his proposed coalition as comprising Zionist parties and excluding Ra’am, the Joint List, Shas and United Torah Judaism.
