Gantz Rebukes Liberman Over Eisenkot Attack and Renews Cross-Bloc Unity Call

Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz rebuked Avigdor Liberman after the latter called Gadi Eisenkot “Gantz 2” and accused him of seeking a government with Benjamin Netanyahu, Yitzhak Goldknopf and Aryeh Deri. Gantz defended his and Eisenkot’s contributions to Israel and rejected Liberman’s attack. He also alleged that Liberman planned a minority government involving Naftali Bennett and Arab parties, and accused him of attacking in response to that claim. Gantz renewed his call for a Zionist unity government spanning the existing political blocs.
