Eisenkot Urges Voters to Ignore Campaign Distractions After Liberman Attack

Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot urged Israelis seeking a change of government on Friday to keep their attention on replacing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government rather than campaign distractions. His response followed criticism from Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Liberman, as the parties seeking to replace the government traded attacks during the election campaign. Eisenkot called for concentrating efforts on winning the election and warned against allowing politicians’ personal interests or their desired positions to obstruct that goal. He presented replacing the government as the priority for voters who want political change.
