Golan Criticizes Netanyahu Over Haredi Coalition Partners and Military Service

In an October 17 post on his own X account, Yair Golan criticized Benjamin Netanyahu over his ties with Haredi political leaders and his approach to military service. In a Hebrew statement, Golan accused Netanyahu of giving Yitzhak Goldknopf and Aryeh Deri excessive influence over Israel and of encouraging widespread avoidance of service while Israeli soldiers were fighting. He also rejected Netanyahu’s authority to lecture political opponents about Judaism and questioned his commitment to Jewish and Zionist identity.
