Gur Reportedly Withholds UTJ Voting Call Amid Dispute Over Party Roles

The Gur Hasidic community has reportedly not issued its customary call to vote for United Torah Judaism ahead of the October 27 election. Unnamed community figures link the delay to unresolved arrangements over political roles, saying an agreement is needed before an endorsement. The dispute follows Meir Porush and Elyakim Stark forming a separate faction within the UTJ alliance after leaving Agudat Yisrael. Gur has approximately 30,000 eligible voters, but no final voting instruction has been confirmed, and the effect on UTJ’s electoral result remains uncertain.
