Rabbi Dov Landau Pledges to Seek Education Support for Working Haredi Families

Rabbi Dov Landau has promised to approach Degel HaTorah's Knesset members and party leadership about the educational and community needs of observant Haredi families whose members work for a living, according to remarks disclosed Thursday morning. At a gathering at his home Wednesday evening, he heard concerns from dozens of working Haredi men, including businesspeople. His undertaking, made without a vow, also covered seeking help to establish Torah classes. The gathering was organized by Mateh Ameylim to encourage support for United Torah Judaism, and Landau urged participants to vote for the party while affirming their place in the Torah community.
