Rabbi Boaz Yurkovich Says He Will Vote for Ben Gvir

Rabbi Boaz Yurkovich, the rabbi of the Chabad community in Lod, said on Thursday, October 22, that he would personally vote for Itamar Ben Gvir. Explaining his decision in a recorded statement, he praised Ben Gvir for holding to his positions rather than changing them under pressure. The rabbi also cited what he described as Ben Gvir’s willingness to leave office when his principles were not respected. Yurkovich presented the choice as his personal vote, rather than announcing a voting position on behalf of the Chabad movement.
