The IDF on Thursday evening published “The Press Files,” a dossier alleging that 170 Gaza residents presented as journalists or media workers belonged to terrorist organizations. The military says the material identifies military-wing members of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other groups, with individual profiles detailing their alleged affiliations and roles. It says its investigation draws on open-source information, documents collected in the field, intelligence interrogations and other sources. The website presents its findings through individual case files, identifying the organizations and roles that the military attributes to each person.
