The IDF identified Bilal Mahmoud Suleiman Samiri on Thursday as an Islamic Jihad operative killed in an Israeli strike in Khan Younis the previous day. The military said he served in the rocket array of the terrorist organization's Khan Younis brigade, part of its military wing. It said Samiri advanced terrorist plots while systematically violating the ceasefire and carried out ambushes against Israeli troops operating around the Yellow Line. According to the IDF, the strike removed the threat he posed. Southern Command forces remain deployed in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act against immediate threats, the military said.
