Israel Reportedly Reaches Conditional Deal for Emirates Connections Through Dubai

Israel has reportedly reached a conditional arrangement that could allow affected Emirates passengers to fly to Dubai and connect onward to Israel with Israeli airlines. The understandings involve the Transportation Ministry and the UAE ambassador, and the Civil Aviation Authority and Emirates. Final security approval for the Israeli carriers' rescue flights remains necessary, with an official Emirates announcement expected afterward. The arrangement concerns passengers in places such as Thailand who had booked Emirates journeys with Flydubai connections to Israel. Emirates had barred passengers whose final destination was Tel Aviv from starting those journeys; a resumption has not yet been confirmed.
