An unnamed Israeli official said the Omani Flydubai copilot’s social-media activity discussed killing Jews and suggested radicalization into jihadist ideology. The official cited accounts from passengers who said the attacker asked Emirati crew members to kill him, while cautioning that investigators could not be certain before completing their inquiry. The suspect was being held and questioned in Saudi Arabia after Wednesday’s Israel-bound flight landed in Tabuk. Benjamin Netanyahu said he expected the copilot to be transferred to Dubai and Israel to participate in questioning, but that it was too early to determine whether Iran was involved.
