Trump Says Iranian Link to Flydubai Copilot Is Possible as Inquiry Continues

U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that a link between the Omani Flydubai copilot and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was possible, while the investigation remained ongoing. Speaking to reporters on the White House South Lawn, he was responding to a question about whether the copilot might have been planted by the IRGC or radicalized another way. An Israeli official said the working assumption remained that the copilot acted alone rather than on behalf of another party. The official also said the inquiry was continuing, and Iranian involvement has not been established.
