Israel's Transport Ministry said before dawn Friday that coordination with the relevant authorities had produced agreement for Israeli airlines to begin repatriation flights from Dubai to Israel that day. It warned that departures would be delayed while security preparations and coordination were completed. The announcement followed emergency discussions overnight, after uncertainty over arrangements for bringing stranded Israelis home. The ministry said it was continuing contacts with relevant Israeli and foreign bodies to enable flights as soon as possible, and urged passengers in Dubai to contact the airlines with which they had booked and follow their updates.
