UAE Source Says Pro-Palestinian Leaflets Found Among Flydubai Copilot’s Belongings

An unnamed source in the United Arab Emirates said pro-Palestinian leaflets, including material associated with “Free Palestine” organizations, were found among the belongings of the Omani copilot on Israel-bound Flydubai flight FZ1073. The source also alleged that he had previously expressed hostility toward Israel. The Dubai–Tel Aviv flight diverted safely to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. UAE Attorney General Hamad Al Shamsi has ordered a specialist prosecution team to examine the incident. An official UAE statement says motives and possible terrorist links remain under investigation; it does not confirm the reported leaflets.
