Security Source Says Israel Has Not Been Invited to Flydubai Investigation

An unnamed security source said Friday morning that Israel had received no invitation to participate in the investigation or questioning of the flydubai copilot. The source assessed that Emirati security bodies would initially share information from the investigation with Israel, rather than confirming an arrangement had been agreed. The report said questioning had not begun because of the suspect’s health. Israel’s security establishment was examining whether Iran or another terrorist organization was involved, whether the suspect acted alone, and whether similar attacks were being planned. Iranian involvement and an external organizer have not been established.
