Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that investigators are checking whether the copilot who attacked an Israel-bound Flydubai flight from Dubai had been sent by someone else. He warned that whoever sent the attacker would pay a very heavy price, without identifying a suspected sender in the statement. Netanyahu said the attacker had undergone Islamist radicalization and intended to crash the aircraft with its passengers aboard. The new statement described outside direction as a question under investigation, rather than an established finding.
