Prime Minister's Office spokesman Doron Spielman said Israel would identify and carry out security checks on every pilot flying into the country. He said Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed authorities to strengthen flight security for Israeli and foreign carriers after the Flydubai cockpit attack and emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. Flydubai cautioned against premature speculation about the incident, and the report said no motive had been established. The UAE's aviation regulator did not respond to a request for comment on pilot vetting.
