Israir Joins Arkia Aircraft Heading to Dubai to Repatriate Stranded Israelis

An Israir aircraft departed for Dubai on Friday, following an Arkia aircraft sent to bring stranded Israelis home after the attack aboard an Israel-bound Flydubai flight. Arkia was the first Israeli carrier to send an aircraft toward Dubai in the repatriation operation, with Israir following it. The departures came after delays to the planned flights, while obstacles to carrying travelers back remained. These included the United Arab Emirates’ demand for a cargo aircraft to accompany the passenger flight and collect the travelers’ suitcases.
