New Flydubai Footage Shows Passengers Restraining Copilot and Seeking Medical Help

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of archival January 2017 passenger-aircraft seatbacks, a narrow aisle and overhead light panels; generic cabin context, not the Flydubai incident or its passengers.

Passenger recordings newly disclosed Thursday evening show Israelis looking for a doctor and additional pilots aboard the Flydubai flight whose captain was stabbed. The footage also shows passengers restraining and guarding the suspected attacker and events after the emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. Survivor Asaf Rajuan said he first saw this recording that day and could hear himself shouting. Tzvika Manes recalled his daughters screaming during the descent and said Yaniv Hayun and another pilot removed the attacker and injured captain from the cockpit.
