Australia’s PM’s XIII Beats PNG 60–10 as Ezra Mam Scores Hat-Trick

Australia’s men’s Prime Minister’s XIII beat Papua New Guinea 60–10 in Port Moresby on Saturday, with Ezra Mam scoring three tries and Jaxon Purdue two. Australia led 38–0 at halftime before Sylvester Namo and Jeremaiah Ben scored PNG’s tries in the 68th and 72nd minutes. Kurtis Morrin added Australia’s final try in the 79th minute. Australia won the accompanying women’s fixture 66–6, scoring 12 tries for the largest winning margin in that fixture’s history. Jada Taylor and Taneka Todhunter each scored hat-tricks for the women’s team.
