The IDF on Saturday identified two Islamic Jihad commanders it said were killed in separate airstrikes in the Gaza City area on Friday. Ahmad Mahmoud Harb Ramlawi was a commander in the rocket unit of the group's Shuja'iyya Battalion, while Munir Ibrahim Masri headed an antitank missile cell. The military said both men had advanced terrorist attacks against Israeli troops and civilians during the war and recently, and worked to restore the organization's capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement. It said Southern Command troops remained deployed according to the agreement and would continue removing immediate threats.
