Celina Leão of the PP leads Leandro Grass of the PT by 55% to 37% in a Datafolha poll of Brazil’s Federal District gubernatorial runoff released on October 8. The survey interviewed 910 voters and has a margin of error of three percentage points in either direction, with a 95% confidence level. Blank or null votes and those choosing neither candidate account for 5%, while 3% are undecided. Excluding those groups, the valid-vote estimate is 60% for Leão and 40% for Grass. The runoff is scheduled for October 25.
