Petah Tikva Student Tehal Atlas Wins Neurobiology Prize and University Scholarship

Tehal Atlas, a Grade 12 student at Yeshurun Ulpana in Petah Tikva, won first place in neurobiology at the third Shoshani Conference for outstanding research by Alpha-program graduates. The conference took place on October 9 at the Hebrew University’s Mount Scopus campus in Jerusalem. About 300 students presented research in eight fields, with outstanding projects in each field competing for first place. Atlas conducted her research at Bar-Ilan University. She also received a financial scholarship for university study; the scholarship amount and destination university were not specified.
