Sharif Calls for Halt to Houthi Attacks on Saudi Airports

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on Friday for an immediate halt to Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia. He condemned attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, saying they had caused civilian deaths and injuries. Sharif commended Saudi armed forces and coalition personnel for intercepting ballistic missiles and protecting civilians. He reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to Saudi sovereignty, territorial integrity and security under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and recent decisions of its Strategic Political and Defense Committee, supporting the kingdom's right to protect its people, cities and vital infrastructure.
