Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Approves Naming Noida Airport for Narendra Modi

Uttar Pradesh's Cabinet approved a proposal to name Noida International Airport at Jewar after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Friday. Speaking after the Cabinet meeting, Adityanath said the Council of Ministers had passed a resolution to rename the airport as Narendra Modi International Airport. The proposed name was reported as Narendra Modi International Airport, Noida-Jewar. Adityanath described the airport as the state's largest and said it was poised to become India's largest aviation hub, presenting that status as a future prospect.
