PDP Absent From INEC’s Final Ogun and Gombe Governorship Lists

Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission published final governorship candidate lists for Ogun and Gombe for the 2027 elections, with no Peoples Democratic Party ticket in either document. The Ogun list contains 13 governorship tickets, while the Gombe list contains 16, each pairing a governor candidate with a running mate. Neither Ladi Adebutu nor Isa Pantami appears in the respective lists. Both documents bear the name of INEC Secretary Rose Oriaran-Anthony. The published lists give no explanation for the PDP's absence from the two contests.
