Katz Accuses Erdoğan of Supporting Hamas and Threatens Khalil al-Hayya

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Sunday of continuing to support Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood's activity from Turkey. Katz said Erdoğan was 'rolling out a red carpet' for Hamas and accused the groups of promoting terrorism against Israel and other important Muslim countries in the region. He also threatened Hamas political bureau chief Khalil al-Hayya, saying that his 'turn will also come.' Katz said Israel had killed Hamas leaders in Gaza and invoked Ismail Haniyeh while warning al-Hayya.
