Kostecki and Hazelwood Win Bathurst 1000 After Leader Runs Out of Fuel

Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood won the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 for Dick Johnson Racing at Mount Panorama in Bathurst, New South Wales, on Sunday. Race leader Anton De Pasquale, sharing Team 18's car with Lee Holdsworth, ran out of fuel on the final lap. Kostecki passed him on Mountain Straight to take victory in the 161-lap race. A slow brake-change stop had earlier dropped Kostecki to fifth. Will Brown and Scott Pye finished second, with Zach Bates and Aaron Seton third.
