Saudi Aviation Authority Reports 12 Dead and 309 Injured in Riyadh Airport Attack

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said an attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on October 10 killed 12 people and injured 309. In a follow-up statement, it identified the dead as four Saudi citizens, two Bangladeshis, and one each of American, Egyptian, Jordanian, Syrian, Palestinian and Sudanese nationality. Some of the injured were in critical condition, and all were receiving necessary care at several hospitals. The authority also reported property damage and said its extent was still being assessed.
