Kariv Says Committee Reviewed Delays in Two Young Jews’ Aliyah Applications

MK Gilad Kariv said the Knesset’s Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Committee discussed two young Jews’ delayed applications to immigrate to Israel on Monday. In a Hebrew statement, he said their applications had been held up for many months since they took part in what he called “protective presence in the territories.” Kariv described the hearing as part of the last day of committee discussions under his chairmanship. He said he would not allow politicization of the Law of Return.
